AWE Asia is genuinely useful for AR, VR and XR hardware and software developers, spatial computing researchers, immersive content creators, and enterprise teams evaluating XR for training, retail or industrial use cases, since it is built around AR/VR focused tracks, exhibitor demos, and speaker sessions. It is not relevant to audiences outside immersive tech, and should not be confused with the similarly named but unrelated appliance and electronics trade show also taking place in Shanghai in 2027.
